Yes, it's time for the famous "Where shall I apply?" meeting.
We won't tell you where to apply, but will alert you to some considerations
in making that decision. This meeting is primarily for students
planning to apply to medical schools this summer for entrance in
August/September 2009, but others are cordially invited to come along.

This Sunday March 2 at 2:30 pm in Smith Campus Center 217
Dr. Edward Walton, member of the faculty and the Admissions Committee at University of Michigan Medical School, will give a presentation and hold informal Q&A for all interested students. U Michigan is one of the few state medical schools that admits a substantial number from out of state-- around 50%
Even if you're several years away from applying, and even if you cannot imagine going to school in a place where the grass is white instead of green several months of the year, sessions like this are a great opportunity to learn more about the application process in general, and to hear the kinds of questions current applicants are asking about schools.
Take a study break/play break to hear the inside story from someone at one of the top medical schools in the U.S.!
